States-rights group launches tour

Events aim to train activists on reeling back federal power.

A conservative advocacy group has launched a nationwide tour to strengthen state power.

The Tenth Amendment Center, which believes the federal government should be strictly limited, has launched "Nullify Now" to teach citizens how they can take part in rolling back the health-care overhaul and defeating cap and trade.

"A great grassroots constitutional awakening that's happening around the country right now – and you can help it grow to the reach the mainstream," the group wrote in an e-mail to supporters.

The sessions are expected to teach activists how to collaborate and message their movement. Speakers include author Thomas Woods, author of, "Nullification: How to Resist Tyranny in the 21st Century."

The campaign launches on Saturday with an event in Fort Worth, Texas. The group also plans to hold events in Florida, Tennessee, Arizona, and California.
