Roundup: What moderate tea partiers want

* The New Republic   writes that tea party moderates are contributing to a schism in the movement. They want to work within the two-party system, not outside it.

* CNN   reports on the Coffee Party's official launch last Saturday. The group, which is the liberal response to the conservative tea party, held more than 350 small meetings throughout the nation.

* Health care ads are taking over the airwaves as Democrats try to gather the 216 votes needed to pass the overhaul through a reconciliation vote. Roll Call   reports on the advocacy groups and associations trying to sway public opinion through television spots.

* Earmarks will only go down about 10 percent with new legislation designed to curb them. The Washington Post   explains that most earmarks go to nonprofit groups that subcontract to private firms, a practice that would continue under the new proposal.
