Anti-war protesters target Obama

Large rally, tent city planned to protest wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

A former critic of President Bush has become a critic of President Obama.

Cindy Sheehan, the military mom who camped outside of President Bush's Crawford ranch in 2005 to protest the Iraq war, will be coming to Washington next week.

Sheehan is organizing a tent city under the Washington Monument to pressure President Obama on Iraq. She and her allies at Peace of the Action   say the new president's policies are no better than Bush's.

President Obama has boosted troop levels in Afghanistan while slowly reducing America's presence in Iraq.

Sheehan's group arrives in town Sunday to strategize and discuss non-violent tactics ahead of a March 20 rally.

The protest's organizers, the A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition , have publicized it for months using guerilla marketing like sticking flyers on public signs and handing out notices at other rallies. They expect a big turnout outside the White House that day.

Sheehan's group plans to attend, but will stick around after the others pack up. Days after that protest, Sheehan and her companions plan to begin "stealth" actions to push for an end to the wars.

This time around, Sheehan won't be sleeping in the tents. She and her fellow protesters plan to stay in a nearby church.
