Roundup: Bishops influence health care

* Abortion has reemerged as a divisive issue in the health care debate. National Public Radio  reports on the influence Catholic bishops have over the reconciliation vote.

* Tea party activists could pose a threat to Republicans if they choose to back third-party candidates this fall, Karl Rove told USA Today.

* Activists from Brockton, Mass., met with Ben Bernanke and asked him to prevent foreclosures on mortgages the Fed owns. The Boston Herald  reports that the citizens had agreed in advance to keep the Federal Reserve chair's comments private.

* The Detroit News  reports that a pro-choice Democratic activist plans to run against Rep. Bart Stupak, the Michigan Democrat who has objected to a health care overhaul that could pay for abortions.
