Roundup: Democrat tries to block EPA

* Sen. John Rockefeller (D-W.V.) introduced a bill Thursday to suspend the Environmental Protection Agency from regulating most greenhouse gases for two years, a move that the Christian Science Monitor   reports gives Congress more time to act on carbon pollution.

* The Obama administration may reverse its position and try 9/11 suspects in a military tribunal after all, National Public Radio   writes. New Yorkers have protested holding the trials in their civilian courts.

* After years of pressure from Armenian Americans, a House committee declared the Ottoman-era mass killings of Armenians in Turkey a "genocide." The New York Times   noted that the move may hurt Turkey-U.S. relations.

* Three conservative Representatives are backing the actions of the Navy SEALS the Pentagon accuses of assaulting an Iraqi, CNN   reports.
