Stem Cell Research Advancement Act 2013 02/23/13
I have written to you, Senator’s Boxer, and Senator Feinstein, I wrote to you in January also. I have written to Congress and the House of Representatives twice now. I still don’t have an answer from anyone except Senator Feinstein. I still do not have an answer from anyone and I need to know. Stem Cell Research is critical. Children and Adults have hopes with this research. I need to know if stem cell research has gotten approved for 2013. Too many people have all their hopes in this research. I receive emails from the Parkinson’s Association, Alzheimer’s Association, American Cancer Society, National children with Cancer. Childhood Disabilities. I need the answer now. I need the Republicans to stop hurting the country and pass this funding that all are waiting for.

“I request that “Stem Cell Research Advancement Act of 2013 “ Be funded and enacted for 2013. Simce I am the Advocate for embryonic stem cell research, I get the emails from the different Disease Associations and need answers now.
This current action is to authorize and continue federal support for human embryonic stem cell research while adhering to strict federal over sight and standards. Human embryonic stem cell research has been called the most promising medical discovery of our time and it remains the gold standard for stem cell scientists. These cells serve as vehicle to understand the root causes of disease, a tool for drug discovery and one day may lead to cell therapies for curing many disabling and often deadly medical conditions including Cancer. As you know, stem cell research and treatment is critical to find cures for diseases that inflict both children and adults. Since this is critical for so many children and adults, I am writing again. I have been the Advocate for stem cell research for the last 13 to 15 years. It was a long struggle to get this critical research moving. As you know, we finally were approved by the Supreme Court in 2011, following President Obama’s Executive Order in 2009. I communicated with President Obama a few times in 2010 and 2011.
Once again in 2012, the Supreme Court ruled that embryonic Stem Cell Research can be federally funded due to all of the promise this research brings..There is too much promise to have any delays In this research.. We can’t go back. We must continue on with this research until the cures are found for the major debilitating diseases.
Stem Cells are the only hope. Please return the status on this critical subject regarding embryonic stem cell research. We must find a cure for Cerebral Palsy and Autism that trap precious children in their own bodies. We can’t leave children in wheelchairs all of their lives with Muscular Dystrophy or other disabilities. We need to find the cures for cancer and there has been some success with this research. Children deserve a childhood and deserve to be free to play like other children. Families need relief that their child can be cured or another Loved One.
We need the hope and cures for all of our Loved Ones. This research is a must and should not be looked at like a choice.. We owe all children and adults inflicted with horrible diseases the hope and cures. We must go forward. As I said, I am the Stem Cell Research Advocate and I receive emails from Parkinson’s Association, Alzheimer’s Association, American Cancer Society, and National Children with Disabilities. I need to communicate to them where the Stem Cell Advancement Act of 2013 is and the assurance this research will continued to be funded. I receive the emails from the Disease Associations saying “We Need Cures Now” and the fear of the Republicans screwing funding for stem cell research in 2013. After several emails to everyone and phone calls, I have not gotten an answer.
Please answer my request and give me status on this. Children and Adults are waiting. I have heard from many Associations for diseases saying “ We Need Cures Now” and continue asking me to call President Obama and Congress. So, I have continued trying and am very frustrated that no one has gotten back to me on the research that so many people in the country is counting on. I know it isn’t President Obama because he is compassionate. The Republicans have been the worse Congress in history and will not be voted back in.
Please either email, call, give me status so I can give a status to the different Associations for diseases. This research is too important to be hung up anywhere in the White House. Too many lives are depending on the results of this research.
Children deserve to be well and deserve to play like other children. The emails I am getting are of worries that The Stem Cell Research Advancement Act of 2013 hasn’t passed. We can‘t accept hopeless any more. Hope is the Answer and Cures are the results of the hopes.
I have written you three times and I have called you. Please respond to me. I know President Obama is extremely busy but I would like response from all of you and him. It seems I am writing and calling for nothing. I am not doing this for me. I am doing this because we need cures. We need cures for children to have a good childhood. We need cures for Adults so they have quality of life. We need cures for families.

Answer me now. I am tired of this whole mess when children suffer, no one deserves election into Congress.
