Senator,
The people in the government that WE the taxpayers have elected into office seem to have gotten the attitude that they are above the people that put them into office. Well, in case you forgot, you work for US! (this includes the President!)

You do make rules/laws but seem to think that you are above them and usually put in clauses that the bill/law does not pertain to you. And you wonder why the ratings of the government are so low among the people that put you there!

What makes you think that you can put yourselves above us? When we do something like not pay our taxes, we are prosecuted. Not you, you go before a board and are “excused” and don't loose your job. Your children go to college, and guess what? They don't have to pay back the student loans, you are exempt from ObamaCare, it goes on and on. If I did a job like all of you have been doing, I would have been fired long ago. You vote yourselves raises, have more vacations than any working taxpayer, plus other perks, yet you have the gall to tell us to tighten our belts!!!! I don't see ANY of you having your benefits/perks cut back! Maybe you should have to go on the Social Security that is going bankrupt, then it would finally be fixed.

I would just love to see one of you have the guts to introduce the proposed 28th amendment that is going around the internet emails like wild fire.

Proposed 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution: "Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States ."
This sure seems like a fair and balanced amendment and then maybe, JUST MAYBE, something would get done for a change.
Of course, this will never happen as you government officials would NEVER take any benefits/perks away from yourselves!
