I am writing a message in regards to the announcement that Feinstein's gun control bill passed the senate committee. I would like my Ohio federal representatives to know I greatly oppose this bill. Should this bill go through I guarantee many Americans will lose what ever faith or patience they still have in our country and government. For many I know in rural Ohio, gun control is the line drawn in the sand. I sit and listen or read Feinstein rationale to her proposed bill and it is ludicrous. She talks of gun control being similar to child porn or how it's legal to "hunt humans" with 30 round magazines when we only allow three shells for waterfowl hunting? What is even more sad is left wing Americans believe her talking points. Then you have democrats talking about how women can defend themselves with out a gun from rape or why don't women just use a pen or puke on an intruder. Why place females or anyone in a position where they must physically defend themselves. As it was said "God made man, but Samuel Colt made them equal." That is the truth. Guns in the hands of law abiding citizens equalize man against tyranny, criminals, and those challenging our freedom. I would like to let all who receive this message to know that I will not vote for anyone who votes against the 2nd amendment or nation's heritage. With guns was our freedom born and with guns shall it be maintained and protected. I thank you for your time and I hope you find the will to vote against Feinstein's gun control bill in April. May my senators shoot the bill down (pun intended) before my house representatives have a chance to vote on it. Thank you.
