STOP THE FCC
Rep. John Boccieri
Sen. Sherrod Brown
December 20, 2010
Please do everything within your power to STOP THE FCC from implementing their new rules and regulations on December 21st for the Internet.
I do not want my freedoms taken away by the FCC, concerning my use of the Internet.
The Obama administration feels that they have the right to regulate what I can and cannot do, say, and see on the Internet.
I totally disagree with these rules and regulations by the FCC that are being decided on before Christmas.
Please help to STOP this government intrusion!
Freedom and openness should continue to be the governing principles of the Internet. Already, three federal judges, in three different cases, have ruled that the Internet deserves the same First Amendment freedom of press as printed material.
Under the disguise of our "protection," the Obama administration is trying to implement regulations over the Internet that are outside of their realm of governmental oversight.
I absolutely object to this governmental expansion of supposed rights over what I do, say, and see on the Internet.
Please. Please look into this matter and make sure that the FCC's new Internet regulations do not go into effect on December 21st as they have portrayed.
Using the Internet is a part of my rights under the First Amendment to the U. S. Constitution. It is our right of speech to say whatever we want.
Thank you for your time and for your consideration,
Canton , OH
