Contact Your Federal Officials

Dear Federal Officials,

I am writing this letter because I have exhausted all options on what to do. My son is 17 years old and has been bullied in multiple schools. He has changed schools 3 times in 4 years and is going to change schools again on Monday. The bullying has gotten so bad that he has been hospitalized, has had suicidal ideations, received psychiatric counseling, and taken numerous medications.

As a parent it is hard to watch your child go through such a hard time. I have talked with schools and nothing has been done in either schools. My son lost his father to brain cancer 3 years ago and the torture this child gets for not having a father is ridiculous. I am a hard working citizen, I am in the military, part-time (national guard). I feel that my child should have the right to go to school and not feel threatened.

My biggest fear is that he will commit suicide. The school my child has been to in the past four years are Grayville Jr. Hich school (Grayville, Il), Triad Jr. High/High School (Troy,Il), Posey Co High School (Poseyville,Ind). Please help me do something about this problem.
