 Hello

I want to commend you on your work in Veterans Affairs and your recent work for Military Sexual Assault Survivors.

However, I believe NOW would be the appropriate time for PFC. LaVena Lynn Johnson's case to resurface.

In July 2005, 19-year-old Army Pvt. LaVena Lynn Johnson, just 8 days shy of her 20th birthday and only in the Army for 10 months, was found dead on Joint Base Balad (JBB).

Her death was declared a suicide, however evidence proves otherwise. Her death was the obvious result of a MST cover-up.

8 years is long enough. Her story has grown in support, and I'm positive that (if) she had survived her injuries of MST, that she would be in the forefront of this fight.

PFC. LaVena Lynn Johnson is a victim. Whose fighting for her?
