Take Action Why can't we read the health care bill before the vote?
I thought it was agreed to post the bill on the internet at least 72 hours before the vote?
If the bill is not available before the vote then the vote is 100% political. Now is not the time for political statements, it's time to help our country. Fiscal irresponsibility has to stop. We can have a health care bill without spending over a trillion dollars of money we don't have. Why can't we read it? What are they trying to hide? What's the hurry? I think every member of congress should do some real soul searching before they allow this to become a reality. The country has had it with the lies and irresponsible spending and they will show their dis-satisfaction with votes. Why can't the President and congress try to pass legislation that has an approval rating of over 80%? Can you imagine how much this country will do when they realize that the government is actually listening to the people? Anything is possible. It's not too late. Remember who you work for Mr. President and Congress, "We The People"!
