Mr. Williams Ford Collector in India 1856 ?
British army officer ? Long time ago my Great Grand father who saved life of an British army officer who was a Irish man Mr. williams Ford . He was appointed in Gurgaon Delhi as a Collector in India. Him and some of his family members were stuck and had no place to run because of fighting in 1856 , My Grand father saw them with kids and women Some total of 30 people he kept them for week because of fighting in Delhi India. A book of my sister have an article about it I thought you may know this Ford who later on wrote a thank you latter to my great grand father in the latter Mr. Ford said Knowledge is the only source for all nations not War and Killing.I'm writing an artical on Mr. williams Ford who left somthing behind that i would like to return to his family. If any one know about this Irish man family where about that will be great help. Name Mr. williams Ford ,Yeary 1856, British army officer appointed in Gurgaon Delhi as a Collector in India.
