Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act
Amends the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act to prohibit a person from possessing a firearm unless that person has been issued a firearm license under this Act or a state system certified under this Act and such license has not been invalidated or revoked. Prescribes license application, issuance, and renewal requirements. You will no longer be able to hand down a firearm to your child or grandchild without involving the government. It allows the government to come into your house and inspect where and how you keep your weapons IN YOUR HOME! to ensure that nobody under the age of 18 can get to them. You will be fingerprinted and photographed and submit your social security number and all your medical psych records for scrutiny to enable you to purchase a firearm along with a fee of course. This bill is nothing more than a subversion of the 2nd amendment. "The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed" It sure sounds like a huge infringement to me. Tell your congressmen to vote no on H.R. 45
