dear barack,
My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer on 12/2/2008.12/10/2008 she had a mastectomy.she has gone thru chemo and radiation for months and the cancer may have spread to her lung we find out monday 12/9/09.I have been layed off from my current job off and on since this time last year the longest layoff being 7 weeks straight ,which i realize is far better off the some americans but when you add in my wife being ill it has been very difficult.on friday 11/6 my wife was informed by her employer that her current health care plan will no longer be available.she had to choose between two new plans one with less coveradge or another plan which i have not gone over yet .do to her cancer she had to choose the better plan ,but now her weekly deductions has doubled.she must continue to work or lose coverage.if we get the worst news at the dr's on monday i am affraid she will not be able to work after more treatment.what if anything will this healthcare debate do to help people like us.we live a very simple life but it is getting almost impossable just to survive HELP !
