I recently received your e-mailed newsletter about your plan to vote for H..R. 3962, the Affordable Health Care Choices for America Act.
I am opposed to this mammoth effort because I believe that any government effort to manage this reform as proposed would be too costly in terms of both dollars (borrowed) and distortions of the market that would cause disruption of patient and provider freedom.
While current laws do need to be reformed there should be efforts to phase out existing government institutions and reduce the interference with the marketplace.
Please do not vote to approve this legislation.
