Thanks for your stand

Thank you for using logic and standing your ground by voting against the bloated Interior Department bill. Please consider the fact that the pending health bill is an even greater pending catastrophe. It needs to go back for a complete rewrite with a mandate to reduce the nation's per capita health care costs.

One way do so is with better support of lower cost retail prime care outlets and preventive care resources that cover rural areas and those limited income people who presently struggle for care. Many other reductions are not even included in the bills in favor of monopolies of doctors, lawyers, financial types, medication makers, equipment manufacturers and last but not least government regulatory standards that force out volunteers and tie everybody else up in knots. I believe that quality care can be retained and costs reduced by a bill that eliminates favoritism and monopolies. This 1900 page bill seems to be loaded with very little good for the paying customer.

Neither the Democratic nor the Republican proposals seem to care a wit about limiting high cost factors in the present health care system.
