If you want to play fair, put the health care bill on a ballot and let the american people decide!

Rep. Rick Larsen

November 6, 2009

Do you get the message that we no longer have faith in or trust our elected Representatives. Sad, but true! You won't show us the bill before you vote, everything is done behind closed doors,(so much for transparency) we are told we wouldn't understand it any way because it is written in legalize...(wonder how our founding fathers managed to write something like the Declaration of Independence's on just one simple piece of paper) and Speaker Pelosi and others have said that we are just not smart enough to understand.

One thing we poor dumb voters do understand is how to mark a ballot...(It's only the government part, you know, the counting, that gets messed up)Since this health care bill is one of the most important (stupid, wasteful and possibly illegal) pieces of legislation that could alter life as we know it, I believe that the American voter should make the choice by voting yeah or nay. After all, we are the ones who will have to live with it and pay for it....so why shouldn't we make the decision

So if you won't vote no outright at least make it possible for democracy to win the day by letting voters make the decision.

NO NO NO to this health care reform.
