Cap and Trade Bill

To:
Sen. Sherrod Brown

November 6, 2009

You represent me and my family here in Southeastern Ohio. The unemployment here is very high and it is almost impossible to find a job to support our families. Why would you even consider the "Cap and Tax" bill that would just devastste what's left of the jobs that have somehow survived? Foreign flights of good jobs are encouraged by favorable taxes and treaties that reward those who move our industrial base and jobs to third world countries. If you are working for foreign interests around the world, then why should we, the american people, support you or your party leaders who are trying to kill more jobs?
When we lawfully gather to protest faulty policies, your leaders ridicule us from their Ivory Towers and call us 'Rabble Rousers'. Their arrogance and condescention tries to obscure the fact that you and they work for us-not the other way around. As such, you can and will be recalled because there are thousands of citizens out here that will rise to the occasion and ensure that you and the likes of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid are fired if you continue to listen to special interests and not those who elected you.
