Dear Representative Lance,
You were NOT elected to:
make deals with your colleagues, load bills with pork, or wheel and deal favors with "Special Interest" groups
on the backs of the taxpayer.
tow the party line and push agendas.
craft Bills in the dark of night, in secret, behind closed doors.
write bills in complex, unintelligible legalese, to obfuscate the content and the reader.
exclude scrutiny, commentary, and participation of your colleagues with alternate views.
vote without reading and understanding what you are voting on.
use or create a "crisis" to rush bills through to essentially blind-side the American people.
disregard and summarily dismiss alternative proposals.
hide bills inside bills to sneak them through.
disregard the US Constitution by not only proposing but promoting bills that would coerce, mandate, subdue, and control the very lives of the American people.
exempt yourselves from the laws and mandates your bills impose on the rest of us.
confiscate more and more of the property that the US Constitution guarantees our right to own, in the form of ever increasing taxation in whatever terms disguised.
prevent the American people from reading and studying bills before they are voted on.
take over banks, industries, and dismantle our economy sector by sector.
to get between the patient and Doctor, and dictate patient health care - in essence you were not elected to practice Medicine without a license!
You WERE elected to:
represent the people NOT a party line
LISTEN to and HEAR the people you represent - they are real!
write bills in plain, succinct English, that is readily intelligible, like our 18-page Constitution.
uphold the US Constitution and with all your being defend the liberty it guarantees to every American.
execute your duties with honor, integrity, and impeccable honesty, according to the tenets of our Consitution
keep the honor of your oath of office to support the Constitution !

In regard to government involvement in health care, HR 3200, HR3962, JUST SAY NO!
To really level the playing field lift restrictions to allow 1300+ health insurance companies to do business across state lines. Now THAT, not a "public", "consumer", "co-op", or government option ( a rose by any other name
), is REAL competition!! Government is not a competitor. Government dictates, mandates, penalizes, and coerces. If in 40 years of trying the American people have REJECTED "universal healthcare" it is clearly obvious the we DO NOT WANT IT! Pay attention!! 1,700,000 of us came to tell you that in person on 9/12/2009!
If you REALLY want to expand health insurance coverage and contain cost we need a simple 20-page bill to include:
1. Insurance business across state lines
2. Tort reform
3. Tax credits across the board for health insurance
NO EXEMPTIONS for Congress! Since when and by what right are we a two-class Society, those bound by your rules and regulations and those EXEMPT. We are a nation of laws. NOBODY is above the law!
