Rep. Leonard Boswell

Please do not vote to approve the Healthcare Bill. This is too important to be a party line vote. Healthcare needs reform, but this giant cram-down is too much too fast.

The summer public meetings should tell you that most citizens are not for this complete take over.

We should be fixing this in smaller pieces that can be managed. How do you eat an elephant...one bite at a time. That is what we need to do here. Work on prioritizing and fixing Healthcare in manageable chunks.

The current bill is way too expensive and is probably understated. We will be impoverishing our children and grandchildren for generations.

Please make your vote for the long term future, not simply to get something done now.
