Mr President and Congressman - please quit writing new bills that simply cost more money - forget all the justifications - you are definitely not saving us and you have cried crisis too often to be believable.
THIS IS REAL - -------- WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The number of Americans receiving food stamp assistance soared above 36 million for the first time in August, the eighth month in a row that enrollment set a record, the U.S. Agriculture Department said on Wednesday. At the current rate, an estimated one in eight Americans receive benefits. The program, which helps poor people buy food, has seen enrollment jump by 4.707 million during 2009 amid a lingering economic downturn in the United States. In the latest data, the average person received $132.99 in August, according to an EXCEL spreadsheet that is $4,787,640,000.00 per month - and we have not even looked at unemployment, mortgage assistance, cash for clunkers, etc
Have you peolple totally lost your minds? Where the hell do think all of this money is coming from? I think you need to get your prioities rearranged. If it does not stress your brains too much, try to solve the economy problems - AND IT WILL NOT OCCUR BY ADDING TAXES AND COSTS, i.e., Health Care and Cap and Trade and any other ridiculous idea you might dream up.
I see now where our brilliant leader??? "Jetset Pelosi" thinks that we no longer need read bills that are passed, in fact, we do not even have to see them - and you are going along with this?
I have long known that our politicans lie to us but Mr President, you and your administration have "raised the bar". You are making a science of it. Now you are telling your loyal followers "how to count" those fictitious jobs you have created and saved (whatever that is) - have you no shame. This must be true becaue even the AP is reporting on it and not that non-news channel (Fox 8). In fact, I think I also saw a little "reporting" of this on one of your "news networks" CNN.
Try to "FIX WHAT IS BROKE" and save a couple of dollars before you save us again with a great government program that will also go bankrupt - I think that we have proven "cash for clunkers" and "mortgage rebates" cost more when government fixes things. I can not wait to see the result of the Government Control of Student Loans and your Government's fix of Cheating Credit Card Companies that are trying to make a profit - what a foolish notion.
Quit taking our taxes and sending us golden programs for a small % of the taxes while you blow the rest - just leave our money in our pockets - you might find that the results will IMPROVE THE ECONOMY - again, what a foolish notion.
