Hon. Heath Shuler,
I am writing to you as you are the Blue Dog Co-Chair for Communications. I attended the rally in September and I was in Washington yesterday. These groups are not republican. We are made up of Democrats, Republicans, Independents and just ordinary citizens. We do not want this Health Care Reform. There is too much spending and debt; we are uneasy because we cannot believe anything that is being reported with respect to this bill; and frankly it looks like another big move toward Socialism which is not what this Country is all about. There is much fraud in Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security. These programs need to be fixed before taking on such a big program as Health Reform. Please listen to us. If the election were held today, the President would not win. We have had enough of the waste and now the power this administration is attempting to acquire. We do not want to be a part of a global government.
