VOTE NO ON THIS HEALTHCARE BILL. I know that you do not want to listen to your voters, as proved by your unwillingness to hold even one townhall meeting on healthcare reform during your August break, but unfortunatlly for you IT IS YOUR JOB to listen to the voters. We do not want the government to take over, and destroy, the greatest healthcare system in the world. This bill would do just that.
The American people have made it crystal clear that this country is heading in the wrong direction, and it is time the put the breaks on and turn around.
My feelings about the situation that we are in nowis that this was not caused by just Democrts or just by Republicans. Both parties deserve equal blame. At this point in time, I feel many American's do not care if there is a "D" or an "R" behind your name, but we want someone whose beliefs and vision for restoring this country are strong. I think what happened Tuesday (election day) showed that people disagree with the policies being pushed forth by this administration, and are looking for politicians that have the backbone to stand against it.
You need to wake up. The old style, "I am going to vote for Marcy, because she has a "D" behind her name", is over. Your Flip on your "Cap and Trade" vote, because you were brided, did not go unnoticed. I think you are very out of touch with the political feelings of the American people. You better wake up and try to understand where the American people are going to take this nation, or you will end up "in the scrap heap of history", to quote the greatest president of my lifetime. You and everyone involved in pushing this administrations adgenda, will end up out of office and in disgrace. The American people will make sure of that.
