Homage to Veterans

Senator McCain,
I am a senior Architecture student at Western Kentucky University; as one of our nations' most well-respected Veterans of foreign affairs, I am hoping an extensive senior research study involving the design of a modern museum to pay homage to the present War on Terror.
Throughout the nation stands various monuments that pay respect to the 4,000+ lives that have been lost in the War on Terror; however, monuments are the extent to the structures that stand to pay homage to our nations' finest men and women. While the War on Terror is currently on-going and may not be addressed in such a context of historical impact, a museum that honors the men and women who have served is imperative. The museum will serve as a national platform of reverence to people from all likes of the country. The facility will endeavor to avoid all political issues, while only seeking to celebrate the people and personify their service. Furthermore, the product of my design will facilitate a memorial museum for soldiers of the War on Terror.
My initial research has been fairly extentsive in respect to design, building codes, veteran needs, and site. Prospectively, I have begun studying site selection and believe Arizona would be very fitting site for this structure. While this is officially a capstone project for my degree in Architecture; I would love to see this design become a reality. While my father is a veteran of The Gulf War and currently serving in Iraq, my heart and soul is invested in this project. If you know of any organizations that might be seeking a designer such as myself for this very purpose or could point me into any direction that might be of substantial benefit to my design process I would be VERY grateful.
