10,000+ people showed up at the Capital today in opposition to Pelosi Care. Think about that... 10,000 people showed up on a Thursday morning with only a few days notice. Remember 9-12? The Tea Party? The Whitehouse may dismiss these events. Pelosi may dismiss these events. But those who face reality know that this opposition is grass roots, it's growing, and represents mainstream America.
Pelosi Care is approximately 2000 pages thick. Have you read every page? Are you fully aware of what is included in this bill? This bill is full of taxes, penalties, punitive consequences for healthcare providers. Further, 2000 pages of enabling legislation will result in 100s of thousands of pages of regulatory code. Is that in the best interest of this country?
The analysis I see and the sections that I've read indicate that Pelosi Care would cause irreparable damage to the quality of healthcare in this country, it would dangerously impact the economy, and would be unconstitutionally impactful to the personal freedoms of all Americans. Not to mention $1.2 Trillion!!! We cannot afford that burden.
I trust you will be vocal in your opposition to Pelosi Care and I trust that you will work diligently to persuade your fellow Ohio delegates Rep. Zack Space and Rep. Charlie Wilson to vote NO? I'm sure that Pelosi Care is not what they want as their legislative legacy? And, those who vote for Pelosi Care will face a ballot-box backlash.
Don't let a heavy handed Radical Left Liberal from California tell you what is best for your constituents and the citizens of Ohio. Stand up against this run-away freight train.
