Support the climate bill and green technology

Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick

November 5, 2009

Humans are having an impact on climate change according to almost all respected scientists in the field. In my 40 years on earth I have witnessed the weather become more erratic and prone to extremes so I tend to believe them. This country needs to become the world leader in green energy and environmental policy and not continue to be the laggard holding everyone back. Becoming the world leader in green energy will not only reduce our impact on the climate, but could also revive our economy. Green energy technology will be the next big thing that changes the way the world functions. We can either be leaders and profit from it, or followers and continue into economic decline. I choose to be a leader. Support the climate bill and green technology.
