Subject:
Medical Bill Vote
To: Rep. Jeff Miller
November 5, 2009
Please encourage your fellow representatives to read the proposed bill before voting. If there is no time, then the default should be a "no" vote.
There are always unintended consequences with complex bills and right now, it will likely result in increasing costs to the majority of Americans and those in your district, reducing coverage for those participating in the program, and creating dis-incentives for future doctors. There are 3 issues that should be looked at that are not well spelled out in current form: decreasing costs for medical coverage, medical (doctor) support and input to medical debate, responsibly expanding coverage (tie it to public service - you work in the peace corps, school district, city government, etc you get gov't coverage).
P.S. Thanks for taking time out of your life to participate in the governing of this great nation
