I just received my electric bill today. My customer charge for usage was $60.97 for the month of October. After the electric Co. was finished adding a customer charge, a transition charge, cost recovery charge,and a bypassable generation and transmission related component charge, my bill more than doubled to $142.99. How many Americans can afford this type of increase. We look to you for help but it seems that you choose to turn your back on us. I think it is time for us to vote the officials who are standing by and watching this type of injustice take place out of office and bring in the type of people who will protect us. Myself and my friends will actively campaign for the ones we feel will represent us in our time of need.
I am a Vietnam vet and my son is in Iraq as I write this. We deserve more.
