Representative Reichert,
I wanted to encourage you to vote No on H.R. 3962 as a concerned citizen.
I, and many others, are concerned that the healthcare bill could set dangerous precedents, if it is biased on contreversial issues such as abortion and assisted suicide. I am sure many moderate and on-the-fence citizens would be apalled if the health care bill were used to promote contreversial views.
The goal of the health care bill is to help those who are serverly sick, impoverished by medical bills, or dying becuase of lack of health-care. That is the goal. To push conterversial decisions into the bll and prolonging the bill's discussion would be to their detriment. It would be best for the healthcare bill to not push decisions on polarized issues, but to seek to achieve it's primary goals.
