Health care Bill HR 3962

Please reevaluate your position on Health Care. Please support HR 3962. We have personally seen how the current health care insurance system is severely flawed. Our family has suffered because of the high cost and stupid exceptions in the coverage that health care insures use to exclude those truly in need. We had a brother who lost medical coverage (all benefits were eliminated) when his employer reorganized. Due to the high cost of independent coverage and exclusions of preexisting conditions, they could not get affordable coverage. They put off seeing doctors regularly, until my sister-in-law collapsed. She was diagnosed with late stage cancer and eventually passed. The bills were financially and emotionally crushing to the entire family.
We are not the only ones in situations like this. Just look at the turnouts for RAM (Remote Area Medical) and similar free clinics. There are millions of good hard working Americans who need your compassion. We need an affordable plan available for all who are not covered by employer plans. We need employers to cover their employees (full and part-time) instead of copping out to the government. We need to protect our citizens from uncaring private health insurers.
Please vote for health care reform! No bill is perfect but HR3962 is better than the other options proposed.
