I am writing to request that you not support HR3548 for the following reasons. You should first fix the unemployment system so that people are required to look for and interview for jobs whiten three weeks of starting to collect. I have heard of people waiting until they only have two weeks left to collect before they start collecting because they know no one cares.. There are no checks and balances to assure people are looking for jobs. We are just giving out free money. Their are plenty of jobs available, just look on line of check your local want adds and you will see the same thing. The current system is to easy and people are just taking advantage of a poorly run system. If the government needs more people in order to insure oversight hire them. God knows their are plenty of people looking for work. Hire some of the ones singing up for unemployment. We are paying them anyway. You also have people collecting and working under the table.
Mr. Turner this is the only area where their is abuse. If you folks as the leaders of our country could control abuse we wouldn't have a budget deficit. or worry about haw to fund Health Care for those who need it. I am tired of my hard earned tax dollars being spent because of lack of government control. You pass bills to control stupid things but the important ones you let the abuse continue.
