Dear Steve,

Do not vote for Socialized Health Care. Government doesn't belong in health care. If you want, you should come up with ways to make what we have better.

You say the following in your email to me: "My position on health care reform is based on two fundamental premises: First, reform must protect the stability of the health insurance you enjoy now, so that you cannot be denied coverage or dropped by your current employer. Second, reform must address the skyrocketing costs of premiums and out of pocket expenses, which place an unfair burden on middle class and working families. "

Let me tell you one thing that you don't seem to comprehend. You will cost businesses so much money, they will have to lay off people to pay for their other employees medical care.

Then you will surtax business owners who are making good money, because they spent hours and hours over their lifetime working, rather than going home and watching TV. They have put millions of dollars into their businesses in the forms of loans. Did you or the government tell these people to not worry, that if they couldn't pay for their loans that the government would take care of them??? NO, you did not......

Now, when they finally can earn what they deserve, after years of loans and sweat and tears, you come along and take more of their money in the form of taxes.

You Steve Israel are an elected official and I think the Virginia and NJ races, have proved that people are not approving of you taking more and more of our money...... even Bill Gates deserves his money because he worked hard and had good ideas, spent his money and got loans for his business. But what is worse, is that you have put hard working Americans, who earn a good living, into the same class as Bill Gates, taxing them to death. There was a Boston Tea Party, and I believe that Americans are going to rise up again, vote against all Congress who support Obama and his Health Care Plan in 2010. Then in 2012, we need a new President, and all Congress who is against Obama's health care plan. Then we need to reverse it if it is voted in because Democrats won't listen to the people.

People are starting to become wise. If an employer has 30 employees, which of those 30 are willing to give up their jobs, so the rest can have Obama Care? Business owners will lay off people in order to pay their surtax that you and Democrats want to charge business owners and their S-Corporations to pay for Obama Care. Many small business owners are looking at now having to pay all employees health care, plus a big surtax. How many businesses will lay off people to achieve Steve Israel's goal?
How many businesses will Steve Israel put out of business? These are just questions every citizen should ask! It is their job that could be gone.
So I won't tell them who to vote for, but they should really think what would happen to the business they work for, if Obama's plans get voted in. If they are lucky enough to keep their job, they probably won't get raises for a long time. Just food for thought. You see, everything you say looks real good, except in the long run, everyone will pay through the nose. This in additon to having government run health care, where no one will have good care... someone I know has cancer and the doctor told him you had better hope that Obama Care is voted down, because you would not be able to get this medicine..... now they are scared. It could be you.
I WOULD EXPECT THAT YOU STEVE ISRAEL WOULD MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE IN YOUR BILL THAT YOU ARE VOTING FOR, THAT ALL CONGRESS HAS THE SAME GOVERNMENT RUN HEALTH CARE AS WE DO, AND THAT YOU DO AWAY WITH WHAT YOU HAVE RIGHT NOW. If it is good for the common people it is good for the King too. Are you going to stand up and say "I want what we are giving the people and let's get rid of what Congressmen have"? Please let me know specifically by email that you won't vote for the healthcare bill, unless you get rid of what Congress has and take what you want to give eveyrone else.
