Your Performance Review - Health Care and Other Spending We Cannot Afford

Dear Employee,
I find it remarkable that you continue to live in a fantasy land. If I could fire every elected official I would do it and start over with people who actually listen to fellow citizens rather than corporate lobbyist. If I could remove the many unconstitutional laws I would do it. Why can't you? Oh yeah you just want to get re-elected. Well, you best prepare for a one-term tenure because you work for "we the people" and we are fed up with your lack of true reform.
We independents sent you a message last night with our election in Virginia and the elections in New Jersey. Wake up from your dream world and cut spending. Stop injecting phony money into the monetary system and devaluing the dollar. The country is near bankruptcy and all you have done is spending more than ever using my grand kid’s credit card. We are in this situation from overspending and you continue to make the same mistake. You are just as greedy as the bankers. Fix the current entitlement programs before trying to pass the bloated, unconstitutional health care "reform". Are you seriously that stupid to think we can afford such a monster given that we cannot afford current programs? It doesn't take a Harvard graduate to see the issue at hand.
Here is a simple concept, cut 40% of the federal budget and then we can talk about entitlement reform. Bring our troops home from the 130 countries that we occupy, focus on Afghanistan and save trillions of dollars in the process. Make the Federal Reserve stop printing money, stop artificially manipulating the loan rates and inflating an already dangerous situation. I mean it is really simple when it comes down to it; do not live beyond our/your means.
To put the health care issue in perspective you'll need to review the history of how we arrived at this point. The federal government created the third party payment system in the 1960's with the creation of what is now referred to as HMOs. In the 1970s a federal law was passed making HMOs mandatory for most employers. Now without the money to pay for existing entitlement programs, you think that government intervention is the answer. Well shame on you for not taking responsibility for previous mistakes. Get out of the free market and it will correct itself.
The constitution is designed to limit government and you continue to use it to justify government expansion. As your boss, I find your lack of understanding of these enduring principles to be unacceptable. Due to your poor performance I’m putting you on probation for the next six months. If you start down the path of bipartisan reform, shrink the budget by trillions (not millions or billions) and focus on fixing what we have before adding programs then and only then will I consider keeping you on as my employee.
Ideas on Health Care Reform
-No Government Run Option!! (or whatever you are calling it today)
-If you truly want competition then allow us to shop across state lines
-If you want to fix the issue then start to reduce dependence on the third party payment system. Insurance is not for basic needs it’s for major issues. Encourage individuals to save for their own well being.
-Allow preexisting conditions
-Do not allow dropping of coverage for those who are sick.
-Keep the government out of it other than passing some policy reforms
Ideas on Monetary Policy
-Shutdown the Federal Reserve.
-Put us back on the Gold/Silver standard.
-Stop printing money, manipulating the market, giving bankers easy profit and lowering the value of the dollar. Encourage people to save and the feds will not need to inject capital into the banks.
-The feds caused the housing bubble so learn from that mistake and stop interfering with the market. Encourage people to save and the feds will not need to inject capital into the banks
-Stop keeping interest rates so low that people over spend.
Ideas on Helping People in Need
-You cannot legislate morality so step aside.
-Individual and corporate welfare does not work. Stop distributing my hard earned income to entities of your choosing
-Let the people help as we always have through charitable giving. It is my choice what I do with my money not you and not the government. I choose to help people and I do not need my employees in the federal government to steal from my hard earned savings to give to who they think deserve it. It is my choice and I choose to give it to a large number of helpful organizations.
