Unemployment Benefits

To:
Rep. David Dreier

November 3, 2009

Until the Congress and the administration can get the economy on fiirm footing the benefits for those unemployed need to be continued. The Congress as a whole is out of touch with the problems of society. Laws were changed by both parties to allow big business to run rampant at the expense of the citizens. Adding only the additional 13 weeks will not help the 12% of the unemployed. The system needs to be set to run until unemployment is at an acceptable level, which is somewhere in the vicinity of 6% something Washington does not want to hear
