The House of Representatives will be voting on the Obama, Reid and Pelosi health care bill by the end of the week. I have written my Congress people several times on the subject. America wants health care reform, but not the Government run, liberalized health care plan that has shown up as a near 2,000 page monstrosity, designed to make sure that no one knows what is in it. The Conservatives have defined many areas in which spending can be curtailed in order to see that everyone is insured without increasing the National Debt. Unfortunately, the administration has chosen to shut them out and to proceed with legislating from behind closed doors. The Dems are ignoring the instructions given to them by their electorate.
We know that this bill will create some 111 new government departments. We have asked for TORT reform and what do we get. On about page 1,432, the bill reads that States will be penalized health care money if they restrict action or make efforts to suppress the Trial Lawyers frivolous law suits.
My Senators have acted to support my desires in health care reform. My Representative has disagreed with every thought I have conveyed to him. Who is working for whom? To be specific Hank Johnson, you will not be reelected in next year's elections. I attended the town hall meeting for your district. Your constituents told you what they wanted and you "did not listen". Instead, you have opted to remain an Obama puppet. You will be amazed at how quickly he throws you under the train next year when you need his support. It is sad that you have chosen a path that you must believe will result in financial rewards and power, instead of one that would help Americas.
This is my last request for my politicians to vote "NO" on the Government run health care plan. I am asking for Health Care Reform, but not a socialist government run plan, that can't even properly handle the H1N1 vaccine production. Instead of messing up the Health Care that we have now, let's see if we can't produce the vaccine needed for the viruses that are present. And, can we please see that U.S. citizens in the Midwest get the vaccines they need, ahead of the murdering criminals of Guantanamo Bay? You will next hear from me at the polls.
