Reflections On Issues

To:
Sen. Harry Reid

November 3, 2009

The Health Care debate is now full circle on the deep issue which divides the many.

Abortion has become the battle cry.

In my view it appears the reality of decisions by these few make for a havoc to some who may need an abortion down the road.

I recall reading about the days abortion did not exist legally and without any medical professionals to assist.

Young women dying in the back alleys bleeding profusely from a butchering job done by some hackman for a minimal price.

If anyone survived, it was a life of scarring both physically and mentally forever.

Not to mention the peer pressure mounting if ever anyone knew it was done.

Where has our humanity been in America?

It has been heroic as parents to see your eighteen year old off to unjust wars in far away lands to be butchered by others for questionable reasons.

The many politicians who vote nefariously for covert actions behind closed doors always to create conflicts and wars for dark agendas.

That has become an acceptance in America which is beyond belief.

An abortion of many eighteen years of age and older fetuses for decades all in the name of some illusory conviction or cause.

All paid and bought by the American tax payer money with a government blessing, not to mention those religious entities in their own glorification.

Recently 30 Republican Senators voted against allowing a young military female who was ganged raped in the line of duty in Iraq while employed by Halliburton to have her day in court against her rapists.

Fortunately, 70 other Senators disagreed and gave their correct vote to allow.

What is wrong in America today is some have little empathy for the imperfections of humanity.

It comes from a mentality of ignorance with a strange vanity indeed.

They fear any choice by an imperfect person will lead to a ruination of our souls forever.

It has been documented clearly that many uninsured persons in America die needlessly each year.

Not to mention what would happen if abortion is not covered in a health plan for that person who erred and now wants a choice to be carried out for her particular reason.

Where is redemption in America for those who make mistakes and find all doors shut.

Is America so perfect it allows the butchering of souls for selective reasons yet excludes others randomly.

Where do we draw this line of decency.

I believe that choice is as it was meant to be always.

All human beings make choices and we live by their results.

If we do not allow abortions, then we should also ban all wars forever.

Make all wars illegal and if they are created those perpetrators will stand trial by a jury of their peers in a civilian, not military, court in America.

The day America makes those young women return to the butchering in alley ways it will live in infamy forever with no repentance possible by anyone's account.

Here is the list of the 30 Republicans who voted in favor of rape:

Alexander (R-TN)
Barrasso (R-WY)
Bond (R-MO)
Brownback (R-KS)

America needs to know why?
