I urge you to vote NO on this legislation, and in all of it's forms and under what ever it's number(s), as it will cost taxpayers a fairly large sum of money and will do nothing to take care of the real problems of medicare/medicaid/insurance fraud, frivolous lawsuits, underfunded medicare/medicaid programs. Stop playing shell games with this garbage bill and let it die on the floor! We do not want or need a government takeover of our health care system! Nothing I have read in this"bill" really will help the families, it will not prevent rationing of health care, it will tax the working class unfairly , it will make cuts to medicare/medicaid (to save money), is a revenue generating scheme (GE, Monsanto,Bayer and other big corporations stand to make billions), it does nothing to ensure quality of health care, does nothing to make insurance competitive by allowing purchase of insurance across state lines, nor does it protect the patient from shoddy/incompetent care. I say vote no and keep the free market free. If you people must meddle, then do so in a way that will actually help. Real tort reform, fully funded medicare/medicaid, lift restrictions on buying insurance across state lines which is the biggest improvement you could institute! Fully fund our community health centers again, start a program where the government will pay for medical training for doctors and nurses in exchange for2-6 years of service in a community health center of their choice (if a position is available). There is no health care crisis, never has been, don't fall into the "panic" trap and enact legislation that will damage America and take decades to undo (if we can).
