My family DOES NOT SUPPORT HR 3962! In fact none of my friends do either. One of the joys of living in the South I guess.
We have been unemployed and looking for jobs since April 2009, and are currently without healthcare. I don't need healthcare reformed! I need a job! We can once again provide insurance for ourselves once we have jobs! ...Full time jobs.
Nothing Obama or Congress has done since February 2009 has promoted business' ability to stabilize or gain confidence in the future. Until that happens, there will be no additional jobs! Why bring on workers when you know the government is about to increase your costs by taxation, cap and trade fuel user charge, and increased requirements to pay more for your employees medical!
How stupid does Obama and Congress think we are!
Perhaps a better question is how stupid are Obama and Congress?
I see this huge cluster of Healthcare reform (HR 3962), Cap and Trade, as well as the "stimulus" spendulous bill as part of the reason we are in a jobless recover...and will have a double dip recession as well as huge inflation concerns once these horrible bills become effective.
I can't tell you the pent up anger I see, and feel myself, because our government is no longer listening to its average citizens! Average in that we played by the rules: Got a college education, had a large down payment on a house within our means, did not abuse credit, saved toward retirement, saved for a rainy day, and never have seen the inside of a prison!
This bill does not even address the true things that make healthcare expensive like the fact you cannot purchase coverage across state lines, small businesses cannot qualify for group rates the way a Home Depot, Coca Cola, UPS, or IBM can, they have not addressed pre-existing conditions, or tort reform. It's been hi-jacked by special interests groups!
We used a Health Savings Account and LOVED that. I believe that will not be an option of this new HR 3962. It is so wrong of our government to think it knows better than its citizens!
I want no part of socialism … I don't want free healthcare…I will pay for my own visits to the doctor.
Tell Obama and Congress to keep their hands off my healthcare options!
