Consensus is a tool used all too often as an effective means of persuasion. The mantra, "Nobody else disagrees, so you shouldn't either", is of course propaganda.
And I honestly ask, do I need to point out times in history when this has been starkly incorrect?
1.World is flat
2.Titanic is unsinkable
3.The sun rotates around Earth
I could make a list a mile long, the point however should be well received. The world IS warming, it's true. How much man has to do with it though, is NOT a matter of consensus.
I recommend any one to read into the matter further. So many things are left out of the public eye, for instance I would guess most people do not know that historically CO2 goes up after the temperature goes up, often by hundreds of years... Not the other way around. CO2 is the SYMPTOM of temperature increases, not the cause. Temperature change has always occurred, and without help from man i,e. The Ice Age.
