Health care reform

The Health Care Reform on the table right now is just insane. I pray you are smarter than to sign onto such a crazy bill. Lets concentrate on the uninsured and address those who want insurance, but can't get it, similar to the risk pool for drivers. It will be expensive for those folks, but the government could start a separate program similar to medicaid where their premiums could be subsidized based on their lack of assets or income.

Making all health insurers forced to take people with preexisting conditions will destroy the Health Insurance industry. My family health care usually costs about $1000 per year, but my insurance costs about $7000 (HSA-type). If preexisting conditions must be covered, why should I buy insurance until I really need it, when I know my medical costs will be higher than my insurance cost. What will happen, is many will opt not to carry health ins, since you can just wait until something bad happens. If car insurance were forced to cover an accident you already had, how many people would pay for car insurance until after they had the accident?

This is just crazy and will increase taxes and health insurance cost for all.
