Mexico City Policy

November 3, 2009

I agree to the permanent repeal of the Mexico City Policy. Abortion is a woman's choice.

I do not agree however, that the US should pay for this service, here or abroad.

A woman should access their insurance company for this service and should receive counseling on pregnancy prevention.

I am also of the belief that if you cannot afford to raise on child on your own salary, you shouldn't give birth. Sorry, but why should my tax dollars continue to support those who have children full knowing that they are not in the financial postion to take care of them? I have one child because as a single mother for many years, that is what I could afford.

We need a better way to control the out-of-control births!
