Dear Rep Shuler, I've read several letters to you from your other constituents. They all want health care reform. We all want reform, that's bi-partisan without exception. However, not through the 2,000 page nightmare that is being pushed upon us in Congress! A federal government run health program is guaranteed to be another financial failure as have all the other entitlement programs established by Congress, and impossible to curtail in the future. This is not the job of the federal government! Just like running car companies and financial institutions is not the job of the federal government! Please use simple common sense on these fiscal issues. Allow our free market system to work! I urge you to rise above party politics and be open minded to the provisions of the bill offered this week by the Republican Party. Their suggestions enable the free market, NOT THE FEDERAL GOVT., to make the kind of reform we all want and need. Please do not rush this issue. Take the time to get it right!
