Take away the punch. Phase out the mortgage interest deduction over ten years.

Increase the income tax deduction for children. Massively.

Subsidize *worthy* college students. Don't make them debt serfs for life. Use a ruthless but fair selection process devoid of social engineering.

Restore usury laws. If the banks don't wish to lend at those rates - we're still better off.

Go after all taxes owed. No more excuses.

Increase the gas tax and use it to pay down the national debt.

Allow valid medical bills to be fully deducted from reported income. You can't contribute if you aren't alive. medical bills are just a cost of doing business.

Establish an income tax panel to roll back all the "special people" benefits enacted since Reagan.

We need a sunset law for superfluous and overpaid government workers. Too many parasites are on the payroll.

All federal defined benefit pensions should be eliminated. It's time for Washington to join the rest of us.
