Subject:
Health Care Reform

Dear Congressman Miller,
I have followed this issue with great interest. It constantly amazes me how Congress can make a mountain out of a mole hill. This situation to me is so simple to manage, yet when politicians get involved, it becomes so complex.
The secret to this is to privatize the Health Care system in America much like the Medicare Advantage plans already in place. Congress would establish the basic requirements for primary care, then the companies would charge a premium, one which would be affordable to all Americans if they qualify as being under the standard income for that group. Of course, a person may enhance their coverage if they so chose and can pay for it.
This takes care of the public option, with subsidized premiums, yet allows choice in the care of the person. This plan would force the insurance companies to forgo profits over service, by meeting the minimum requirements for health care.
You have voted constantly in the past to send billions of dollars to Iraq. That money has been used to pay for their universal health care. Now why is it acceptable for the Iraqi people to have health care and not our own? You need to think about all these "NO" votes you have been casting. You must forgo Party vote, and begin voting for the people.
Thank you for your time and I trust you will vote for the people in this important issue.
