Vote no on healthcare bills
To: Sen. Herbert Kohl
November 3, 2009
Stop the insanity. The current healthcare bills are economically unsustainable. The American people know that so why can't
the Congress figure it out? The healthcare debacle amounts to an immense redistribution of wealth that would completely destroy our country's financial well being. Congress needs to scrap this bill and concentrate on jobs and the economy. The Healthcare bills amount to an extreme partisan effort which has completely shut out other viewpoints and has failed to engage with physicians and adequately safeguard the private relationship between doctor(s) and patients. There are certainly many areas of agreement for healthcare reform but this congress under Pelosi & Reid has utterly failed to consider them. Between the House's massive 1000 page plus bill and the Senate's bill now rewritten by a few behind closed doors the entire mess needs to go into the circular file where it belongs. Address the waste and shortfalls in the Medicare & Medicaid programs. Prove you can fix them before putting the entire economy into a tailspin and indebting our children and grandchildren for their lifetime. Congress' arrogant attitude that you know best in regards to our healthcare is maddening. Take a look at the "success" of getting the H1N1 vaccine to people...and you want us to trust you with healthcare?
