Please be merciful and don't take America down a socialist health care path. I am a physician who fears seeing our world-class health care system devolve into a stagnant bureaucratic mess.
Tort reform, elimination of state mandates and facilitation of cross-state insurance competition, uncoupling health insurance from employers and making it more like car and life insurance are much more effective alternatives.
Let CMS and Medicaid become honest and even hard-nosed about rationing so that they can stay afloat.
Please don't ruin our health-care system. The world will suffer from the lack of research and development. Thank you for your time.
