HR 1207 Audit the Fed

To:
Sen. Harry Reid

November 2, 2009

The issue of transparency for America's secretive central bank is fully necesarry and warranted for the benefit of the American People. The Fed needs a complete and thorough audit. Any falsehood that congress couldn't take over monetary policy should be renounced. The congress has full rights to take over monetary policy and the authority to print money at no interest is fully Constitutional and should be pushed NOW. This is the way it should have always been!

The bill should permit an audit of the Fed's actions in the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP), similar high profile bailouts and the Fed's inflation of the money supply or the its agreements with foreign central banks. Where did all the missing money go? We have a right to know!

Legislation that would bring a full audit of the Fed, Congressman Ron Paul's H.R. 1207 and its Senate companion S. 604, has gained strong grassroots support and built tremendous pressure on banking special interests.

I couldn't care less about the Fed's independence. And we need to rip apart this secret agency holding our country hostage NOW!

The Fed has assisted in the demise of the dollar and a full audit to determine any unacceptable behaviours must be allowed.
