Senator Schumer,
I'm a Christian Cultural Center(CCC) member but resides on Long Island. I recently passed the citizenship interview & examination at the Garden City office. After the test while waiting to schedule a sworn-in date, the agent, Ragis informed me that USCIS had made a mistake and had not thoroughly performed the background file review. That a portion of the files were in the Missouri office and had not been reviewed. Hence, my citizenship is still pending after 2 months of waiting.
I thought a thorough background investigation was done prior to the citizen interview which I passed. My 'green' card expires in May 10, 2010. I'm at a lost and would greatly appreciate your help. Thank you in advance and see you at CCC.
