The recent conflict between the Obama administration and Fox News gives me cause for serious concern. The President and his staff have openly engaged in biased conduct against this organization. When Mr. Obama said they weren't a real news organization and should not be treated as one, it said a lot to the people about where he stands on that little thing called the Constitution.

It is truly frightening that Mr. Obama claims to work for the American people, but works daily to remove the United States from their hands and place it into the hands of his select ruling class. Increasing spans of control over finance, transportation, and industry in our country is apparently not enough. He now seeks to control the public exchange of thoughts and ideas.

President Obama, and anyone who supports his actions against Fox News, betrays his oath of office to preserve and defend the Constitution of the United States to the best of his ability. Selectively including news organizations and deriding those who don't tow the line is a dangerous, slippery slope that America should never go down.

I want to see more dignified behavior in the presidency. This means greater respect for all members of the Third Estate. Placing strict controls on differing opinions and public discourse creates the same conditions we declared independence from 233 years ago.
